Tammy Thomas, Lighting & Design Manager at Marnie Custom Homes, was named Selections Coordinator of the Year at the 2025 Regal Awards. With over 30 years of experience in lighting and design, Tammy holds the designation of Certified Lighting Consultant (CLC), a credential she has held since 1992, placing her among just 182 CLCs in the entire country and one of only two in the state of Delaware. Before joining MCH in 2021, Tammy served as General Manager at The Light House of Lewes and operated her own business, Lighting by Tammy, bringing a unique blend of entrepreneurial experience and design expertise to her role.
In 2024, Tammy managed selections across multiple simultaneous custom home builds, with every home delivered on time and within budget. When faced with a 10-month appliance lead time challenge, she built a custom tracking system to manage hundreds of orders, deposits, and deliveries, developing a weekly workflow with Ferguson representatives to ensure nothing fell through the cracks. Clients consistently describe Tammy as one of the most memorable professionals they’ve worked with and someone who makes them feel like their home is the only project that matters.
