Step inside this calm and inviting coastal contemporary beach home and you’ll want to say “ahhhh.” This 2,900-square-foot abode sits just one house from the beach in South Bethany and embodies a contemporary yet timeless transitional design. We used a variety of textures, wood tones, and rough stones for the overall design aesthetic.
The main living area sits on the top floor, which allows for a vaulted ceiling, giving the space an open, airy feel. The Bianco Dolomite porcelain countertop and backsplash are absolute showstoppers in this two-toned kitchen offset by the custom zinc hood.
Pocket glass doors open to the screened-in porch that easily becomes an extension of the contemporary living space. With the touch of a button, you can open or close the screened-in porch with a remote-controlled Phantom Screen.
For an even better view, a spiral staircase leads to the rooftop deck with a custom wood bench and fire pit to enjoy unobstructed views.
The jewel of this home is the custom chandelier in the staircase that looks like floating bubbles. We built a wedge on the sloped ceiling and butted together two fixtures to create this unique and airy fixture that looks incredible from the outside at night.
